Biotech Manufacturers Forum

As a key source of highly trained workers and the research that fuels innovation, higher education is critical to North Carolina's economic future. NCBIO has been an important advocate for expanded educational and research opportunities for our students, just as it has strongly supported new opportunities for the state's bioscience companies.

Provides a forum for biotech manufacturers in North Carolina to discuss major strategic issues of common interest, including quality, regulatory, safety and work force issues. Provides a mechanism for collaborative industry action and information sharing.

The Biotech Manufacturers Forum played a pivotal role in organizing North Carolina’s innovative NCBIOIMPACT. a partnership of North Carolina universities and community colleges working together to expand the availability of hands-on education and training opportunities with commercial-scale biomanufacturing technologies.
